Bridge Foundation Development Corporation is proud to announce a transformative partnership with the World Conference of Mayors, marking a bold step forward in our mission to keep girls in school. This collaboration will amplify our successful Cycle for Success program, which has already grown from supporting 72 to 260 girls in Gambia’s Kuntaur Region in just one month.
“Today marks a new chapter in our fight for educational equity,” announces Kendra Fipps, Executive Director of Bridge Foundation. “By joining forces with the World Conference of Mayors, we can expand our reach and impact exponentially. What began in one region of Gambia can now become a model for cities worldwide.”

Our Cycle for Success program demonstrates what’s possible when organizations and civic leaders work together. In Kuntaur Region, the unwavering support of Honorable Jawara has helped us break down barriers and open crucial conversations about educational access. His leadership exemplifies the kind of local commitment that, combined with global support, can transform communities.
Through this new partnership with the World Conference of Mayors, Bridge Foundation will gain access to a powerful network of civic leaders committed to sustainable development and educational equity. This collaboration will help us reach our goal of supporting 3,000 girls, creating a scalable model that can be implemented across member cities.

The impact is clear: when girls stay in school, communities thrive. For just $50, we can keep five girls in school for an entire year. A $500 investment impacts an entire classroom, while $5,000 can transform a school. With the World Conference of Mayors’ support, these numbers can multiply across cities and continents.

“This partnership with Bridge Foundation aligns perfectly with our mission of fostering global cooperation for local impact,” says Honorable Johnny Ford, Founder of the World Conference of Mayors. “Together, we can ensure that no girl has to choose between her dignity and her education.”
Bridge Foundation invites all member cities of the World Conference of Mayors to join this crucial initiative. Your city’s participation will be recognized in our annual impact report and featured in our global success stories. This is more than a donation – it’s an investment in the future of global education.

Together, we can ensure that every girl has the opportunity to complete her education with dignity, confidence, and hope for the future.

Sincerely,
Kendra Fipps
